I came across a mention of Alton Strange Jr. recently and couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sorrow for his family and friends who continue to seek answers about his untimely death. One thing that stuck out to me was his involvement in Job Corps. Not many people are aware of the commitment needed to excel in such programs. He not only pursued a skill in bricklayer mason tender but also focused on social skills, showing how well-rounded he aimed to be. It's clear he had aspirations and a drive to build a better life for himself. This makes the mystery surrounding his passing even more tragic. I find it perplexing how little information is out there about the investigation into his death. It's been so many years, and one would hope there'd be more clarity by now. Anyone familiar with how investigations were typically handled in Fayetteville around that time? It would be comforting to know the community he was a part of hasn't forgotten him and is still looking for justice. If anyone has insights or memories of Alton they'd like to share, perhaps it could shed more light on the person he was and help honor his memory.
