I've been following Janet McPherson's case for a while and something that's been on my mind is the role of her community. Janet seemed to have such a vibrant presence in Graham, and I can only imagine how much she meant to those around her. She was deeply invested in her community, attending The Church at Burlington and working in several fields that allowed her to interact with many people. With Janet's background as a Real Estate Broker and Reiki Master Practitioner, she probably had extensive connections and touched many lives positively. It's puzzling that despite all these connections, there seems to be a lack of information about potential leads or the course of the investigation. It makes me wonder if there was something about the local climate or culture that hindered the sharing of information. Sometimes communities don't always have the resources or experience to handle such complex situations. I hope her family and close friends receive the support they need, and that one day, somebody feels compelled to come forward with information, allowing them to find peace.
