I can't stop thinking about the 911 call in the Wheeler case. It's haunting to imagine what that moment must have been like. The call was made and then abruptly disconnected, which makes me wonder if Samantha or her mom tried reaching out for help but were unable to finish. The courage and desperation it must have taken for one of them to try to make that call breaks me. I can’t even begin to fathom the fear that must have been on the other end of that line. It's truly unsettling that there were no signs beforehand, no reports of domestic issues, and Rick seemed to be carrying out normal activities. It's hard to digest how things can look utterly normal on the surface while such a horrendous tragedy is about to unfold. My heart goes out sincerely to their family and friends who must be grappling with so many unanswered questions and indescribable grief. ?
