I’ve been thinking a lot about the young lives affected by Mary Ann Holder’s actions, particularly Robert Dylan Smith's girlfriend, Makayla Kee Woods. At just 17, she faced unimaginable trauma, being critically injured and losing her boyfriend. It’s hard to wrap my head around how someone so young can begin to heal after such a life-changing event. Is anyone aware if she received support or counseling afterward? The emotional recovery from experiencing such a shocking ordeal must be incredibly difficult. My heart goes out to her and everyone involved. Sending strength to Makayla, the families, and the Greensboro community as they continue to navigate this tragedy.
