I’ve been thinking a lot about the three kids who were present during the tragic events on November 23, 2011. It’s unimaginable what they went through and the long-lasting impact this must have on their lives. Being so young and exposed to such trauma can leave scars that aren’t visible, and they’ll need a lot of support to navigate this as they grow up. Does anyone know if there’s been any update on how these children are doing now, or if they’ve got the support systems in place to help them process what happened? I truly hope they've been surrounded by loving and caring individuals who can provide them with a semblance of stability and comfort after such a horrifying experience. It’s important that we remember them, too, alongside Benita and Tierra.

Has anyone else been following the details of the McMillan and Underwood case? It's truly a devastating reminder of how serious and damaging domestic violence can be. My heart goes out to the children who were inside that apartment and had to go through such a traumatic experience. Imagining how confused and scared they must have been is just unbearable. It's crucial that they receive all the support and care they need to navigate this horrific event. Also, the fact that Jermaine Lamar Johnson, after allegedly committing such an act, had the presence of mind to leave with his baby and confess does add another layer of complexity to this case. It's so difficult to wrap one’s mind around what might have been going through his head. This case really highlights the importance of community support and awareness when it comes to signs of domestic violence. If anyone here has resources or advice on how to help children in these situations, please share.
