I can't stop thinking about Amber's mom finding them. Can you imagine the shock and pain she must have felt walking into that scene after just dropping off the kids? It's unimaginable. On top of that, knowing she had to take care of her grandchild immediately after such a traumatic discovery, it's just too much for one person to bear. I hope she's found some sort of support network to help her through this.
Also, it’s so chilling to think about the fact that Amber had voiced her fears just days before. From everything I've read, it sounds like she did everything she could to protect herself and her kids. Yet, despite her courage and foresight, it still wasn't enough to change the outcome. Sending love and strength to Amber's family, especially her children. They must be going through an incredibly difficult time trying to grasp all of this. ?
Just when you think you're getting a clearer picture, something about this case pulls you right back into the murkiness. I'm really struggling with how someone like Robert, who dedicated years of his life to serving as a BART canine officer, could end up doing something so unthinkable. What happened in that short span of time that led him from being a protector to someone capable of such violence?
I think we need to focus on understanding the warning signs better and providing support to people in those positions. It's truly painful to see Amber, who seemed proactive about protecting herself and her kids, fall victim despite her efforts. If only she had been able to get more help or if intervention by authorities had been more robust...
My heart goes out to Amber's family, especially her children. I hope they find support and healing after this unimaginable tragedy.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the Amber Seymore case, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the role of law enforcement and their response to Amber's initial call for help. It’s truly devastating that she reached out to authorities just days before the incident, trying to protect herself and her children. It makes me wonder if more could have been done to ensure her safety. Situations like this highlight the critical need for a system that can provide immediate and effective protection for domestic violence victims. Amber's story is a somber reminder of the importance of listening to and acting upon the fears and pleas of those who feel threatened. My heart goes out to her family, especially her children, who have to grow up without their parents. I hope we can learn from this to prevent similar tragedies in the future. ?
