I've been following the case of Spencer Mims III, and I can't help but think about the impact his death must have had on his friends and family. From what I've read, he was a vibrant and talented individual who had a deep love for music and film, as well as an impressive career at Virtual Image Technology. I imagine his colleagues must have been devastated to lose such a dedicated team member. It’s difficult to comprehend how someone who was so full of life and creativity could have their story end so tragically. The use of lethal force in situations involving mental illness is such a complex issue, and it makes you wonder if things could have played out differently with more awareness and understanding of mental health. My heart really goes out to Spencer’s family and friends as they continue to seek justice and remember the impact he made in their lives.
