I've been thinking a lot about the car involved in Dontae Renard Ross's case. It troubles me that a dark-colored sedan was seen fleeing the scene; yet, there doesn't seem to be much information about it. Is it possible this car was stolen or borrowed, making it harder to track down? I imagine the license plates were probably obscured or switched, which complicates things. It's so unsettling how quickly a vehicle can disappear after an incident like this. My heart goes out to Dontae's family and friends who are surely struggling along with the rest of us to piece together what happened that tragic night. It’s situations like these that remind us how vital community cooperation is—hoping someone comes forward with any details that could help pin down this vehicle and those inside it.
