Does anyone have more details about the tragic incident involving Billy Ray Locklear from 2019? The single-vehicle accident where his car struck a tree and exploded has been weighing on my mind. It just seems strange that there were no witnesses despite it happening on I-74. Was there any investigation into the cause? It feels like such a painful way to lose someone who was a dedicated employee for over four decades in the Public Schools of Robeson County. If anyone knows if they found any clues or came to a conclusion about what led up to this accident, I’d appreciate it. It's so sad thinking about how his family is managing without answers. Sending positive thoughts to his loved ones.
