I recently came across this case and I'm deeply saddened for Mr. Cummings’ family, especially his mother and grandchild who were there during such a terrifying moment. It’s so rare to see such a violent act happen in our own neighborhoods. I wanted to bring up something that's been puzzling me about the intruders. Does anyone else find it unusual that despite spending time inside, neither the mother nor the grandchild were harmed at all? It almost feels as though the assailants had a specific target and purpose. Could this support the theory that they were after something specific, or perhaps someone specific was behind this? It's difficult to fathom this nightmare unfolding in a place that's supposed to be safe. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy, hoping they can find peace despite the circumstances. If anyone has insights into this aspect, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
