I’ve been thinking a lot about the aftermath of the awful events that transpired on Sammy Lane. It must be unimaginably difficult for Malcom's girlfriend and the child who were present during such a traumatic event. Being there when something so violent takes place can have long-lasting effects. I truly hope they have access to the support they need to heal and move forward somehow. Also, it’s disturbing to think about how the community is coping with this incident. Elizabethtown is probably a place where people felt safe before this happened. Crime like this can shake that sense of security for everyone. I hope the community is finding ways to come together and support Malcom’s loved ones during this incredibly tough time. Have there been any local initiatives or support groups formed in response to this tragedy? It might be important for the town to have a way to process together.
