I can't stop thinking about how terrifying that night must have been for everyone in that house, especially the children. Being subjected to such violence and chaos within the safety of one's home is unimaginable. I personally can't fathom how the family is coping with such a traumatic loss.
I find it perplexing that, even with so many witnesses, this case remains unsolved. It makes me wonder if there were any additional clues found at the scene or if any updates on potential suspects have been shared since the initial incident. It’s important for the community to keep this case in the spotlight to hopefully bring some resolution.
My heart goes out to Jimmy Michael Slate's family and everyone who cared about him. It’s a reminder of how crucial it is for anyone with information to come forward, no matter how small it might seem. Families deserve answers and closure. Let's hope justice is served sooner rather than later.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the two children who were in the house during the night of the invasion. As a parent myself, I can only imagine how terrifying and confusing this must have been for them. I hope they're receiving the support and counseling they need to cope with such a traumatic event. It’s chilling to think that these kids not only lost someone in such a sudden and violent way but also had to endure the presence of armed intruders.
Does anyone know if there are any groups or community efforts helping the family, especially the young ones, until justice is served? It's been years without closure, and I can’t imagine how the family feels, waiting for answers. Maybe sharing more about available community support could encourage others to offer help too.
