Has anyone else been thinking about how the gun used in this crime was taken from Sullivan's own home? It's so unsettling to realize that something as personal and horrific as this started with a weapon right out of his father’s gun cabinet. It makes me wonder how aware Sullivan's family was—or wasn't—of his intentions prior to this tragedy.
Also, I'm curious if the family had any sense of Sullivan's radicalization or if this came as a total shock. The ripple effects of this tragedy must be so painful for both the Clark and Sullivan families. My heart goes out to John Bailey Clark's loved ones, who have to grapple with the senseless loss of their beloved family member. It's troubling to think about how easily accessible this was for Sullivan and how it all spiraled into such violence. I hope we all learn something from this to prevent future tragedies.
Has anyone else noticed how close Sullivan lived to John Bailey Clark? It’s chilling to think about how this young man lived just down the street and still chose to commit such a heinous act against his neighbor. It makes you wonder about the dynamics within that neighborhood and if there were any warning signs that might have been missed. My heart goes out to Clark’s family and friends. I can’t imagine how it feels knowing someone from your own community did this. Does anyone have more info on how neighbors reacted after the incident came to light?
