I was thinking about the impact this whole ordeal might've had on Azariah Brewer. Imagine just being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting caught in such a violent encounter. It must have been terrifying and traumatizing to see something like that unfold in front of them and sustain injuries as well. Even though Azariah was not the target, they were still very much a victim that day. I often wonder how they're coping now, years later, and whether they've been able to find some peace after everything they went through. It's a reminder of how far-reaching the consequences of violence can be, affecting more than just the immediate victims. My thoughts are with Azariah and the Scott family, hoping they all find strength and healing.
