I’ve been following William McGruder’s case for a while now, and one detail that sticks out to me is the specific area where he went missing. Woodward Avenue and MAC 3rd Street in Detroit is supposed to be quite a busy spot. Has anyone heard if there were any security cameras in the area at the time? I can’t help but wonder if any footage was ever reviewed or if any businesses might have caught something on their cameras. You’d think with such a busy intersection, someone would have seen something or some surveillance would provide clues, right? It’s frustrating that after all these years, there seems to be so little to go on. If anyone knows more about this area or has ideas, it might open up new leads.
