It’s been over eight years since James Dinkins Jr. was tragically taken from his loved ones, and I can only imagine the pain his family and friends continue to endure. I keep thinking about how challenging it must be for his siblings who have had to live so many years without their brother. Losing a sibling is tremendously difficult, especially in such a violent and unresolved manner.
There seems to be so little information available, and that must be so frustrating for everyone involved. I really wonder how the investigators are piecing this together, given the lack of details that have come out over time. Has anyone heard if there have been any recent developments or if law enforcement has plans to release more details to draw out new leads?
Sending thoughts of strength to his family, especially his grandparents, who must be heartbroken after raising him and now facing such an unimaginable loss. I hope that they find the answers they’re looking for soon. If anybody has more insight into the case, please share. Every bit helps in keeping James' story alive and pushing for the justice he deserves. Stay strong, James' family!
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about James Dinkins Jr.’s life lately. It seems like his family has been through so much over the years, especially with the loss of his sister Brittany, and now this unimaginable tragedy. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his grandparents, Paul and Mary, must be feeling right now. Raised by them, James was clearly a deeply loved member of their family.
The community in Lumberton seems pretty tight-knit, and I'm hopeful that someone out there knows something that could help the investigators. It's just so frustrating to see this case still unsolved after all these years. James deserved so much more, and it's really important for us to keep talking about this to make sure his story isn’t forgotten.
I just wanted to check in with you all and see if anyone has heard any developments or if discussions are happening locally that might help. We need to keep supporting each other and keep his name out there until the truth is uncovered.

I've been following the case of James Dinkins Jr., and one aspect that keeps sticking with me is the location where his body was found. Magna Boulevard seems somewhat isolated, and it makes me wonder if the perpetrator was familiar with the area. Could it have been someone local who knew this spot would be less frequented? It really sends chills down my spine thinking about how vulnerable he must have been in those final moments, especially considering all the family who undoubtedly loved and cherished him. My heart truly goes out to James's siblings and grandparents—they've already faced such immense loss. I can't imagine how hard it must be for them as they hope for answers. Praying that the authorities get the break they need in this case soon. ?️
