Hey everyone, I've been following Maya's case and can't stop thinking about the beautiful mural that the community painted in her memory. It’s located near the Ramada Plaza Oceanfront, where she used to work, and stands as a vivid reminder of her vibrant spirit and the life she led. It’s touching to see how her friends, family, and even strangers have come together to create something so meaningful. If you've seen it, you know how powerful it is—people have been leaving flowers and notes, sharing their love and memories of Maya. It's moments like these that show how deeply she was loved and how much her loss has affected Elizabeth City. This kind of community solidarity gives me hope that justice will eventually be served for Maya. Let's not forget her, and continue to support her family as they seek answers and peace.
