I can't stop thinking about the courage and resilience of Jacobia English Lane's children. They were there, witnessed something no child should ever have to see, and now are left to navigate life without their mother. It's unfathomable what they’re going through, and yet, they have shown incredible strength through this nightmare. It's so important for the community to rally around them and provide whatever support we can – whether it's emotional support, offering a listening ear, or helping them maintain some semblance of normalcy during such a distressing time. My heart goes out to them all, and I'm hopeful that justice will prevail for Jacobia. If anyone out there knows something, please come forward. These kids deserve answers and a little bit of peace in their lives.
It's truly baffling to think about the sheer number of shots fired that night, around 30, and only Jacobia and that teenager were hit. In a house filled with 27 people, how did no one else get injured? It almost seems intentional, yet incredibly reckless. I can't wrap my head around it. Her kids, especially, must be going through an unimaginable amount of trauma after witnessing something so horrific. I'm hoping the police can find whoever is responsible soon. The weight of not knowing must be unbearable for her family. If anyone in the community has even the slightest piece of information, I really hope they step forward. Finding justice for Jacobia is so important.
