I remember hearing about the shocking loss of Everette Thomas Lynn back in 2016, and it still baffles me that so many questions remain unanswered. I came across some posts from folks trying to piece together what could have happened that night on Independence Boulevard. With Everette being a dedicated barber, I'm curious if anyone has looked into his clients or any interactions he might have had at the shop in the days leading up to his death. Being a barber means he came into contact with a lot of people — maybe someone saw or heard something? It's so frustrating to think that his family has had to endure nearly seven years without knowing why he was taken from them. If anyone has more info or remembers something from that time, no matter how small, it could be worth sharing. Let's keep discussing and keep Everette's memory alive — his family deserves answers and justice.

Hi everyone,
I've been following the Everette Thomas Lynn case and something that's stuck with me is how much effort Everette put into his community as a barber. I didn’t know him personally, but from everything I’ve read and the comments from those who did, he seemed like the kind of person who’d always have a kind word or a joke ready to brighten someone's day. Many who sat in his chair over the years will surely miss his positive presence and the genuine conversations. It's incredible how someone who contributed so much positivity had his life ended so abruptly and violently. My heart goes out to his kids, who not only lost a father but also a role model. I truly hope that this community keeps rallying for justice and that CMPD remains diligent in their investigation. If anyone has more stories about how Everette impacted their life, I think sharing those could remind us all of why his case needs resolution. Thoughts?
