Hey everyone. I've been reading through the threads about Pierre Davis, and I couldn't help but think about the legacy he leaves behind, especially with his three kids. It's terrible to think about what they'll have to go through growing up without their dad. My heart goes out to them and the family, especially his sister Myesha. It's commendable how she’s stepping up to help their mom with a fundraiser, but the response just hasn’t been enough. It makes me wonder if there’s more we can do as a community to rally around them in their time of need. I know Detroit has its struggles, with so many cases like Pierre's still unsolved. Part of that is clearly due to the heavy caseload the police face and the lack of resources. Still, maybe if we could build more bridges between the community and law enforcement, it could encourage more witnesses to come forward. Also, does anyone know if there are any local organizations that are focusing on both supporting families left behind and assisting with unsolved cases? Maybe there's a way we could help get more attention on Pierre’s case. It just doesn't feel right that so many families are left in the dark without any answers. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I came across the case of Pierre Davis while reading about unsolved homicides in Detroit, and it really struck a chord with me. One aspect I found particularly disheartening is the lack of community support for his family during such a difficult time. Myesha, Pierre's sister, put together a fundraiser to help their mother with the funeral expenses, but it didn’t receive much attention or donations. It’s incredibly tough to imagine what his family is going through, especially with three young children left behind. It seems like there's a need for greater solidarity from all of us in these moments to help those who are suffering and to assist in keeping their loved ones' memories alive. I think it might be helpful to brainstorm ways that communities can better support families in similar situations beyond just the immediate aftermath. Pierre's story is sadly one of many, but perhaps if we all put our heads together, we can come up with meaningful ways to lend our support and make a real difference. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions on how we can help elevate campaigns like Myesha's in our own communities?

Hi everyone, I've been thinking about Pierre Davis's murder recently and wanted to bring up a point about community involvement in these tragic situations. Pierre’s sister, Myesha, was courageous to organize a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses and support their mother, Rebecca. It seems heartbreaking that, despite her efforts, there hasn’t been a significant response from the community. I understand that many in Detroit are facing financial struggles, but it’s times like these when any little bit can make a difference. Coming together, even in small ways, could not only support the family financially but also show them they’re not alone in dealing with this loss. It’s crucial that we help families like the Davises feel a sense of community support, so they're not left to carry such a heavy burden alone. Moreover, community engagement is vital—if people feel more connected and less isolated, they might be more willing to come forward with information that could assist investigations. We can do better, Detroit. Let’s not only demand more resources and justice from authorities but also show up for each other in whatever ways we can.
