It's so upsetting to see that Juan Monterio Floyd's case hasn't moved forward since that tragic day in March 2017. I was reading about how the shooting happened in broad daylight on Miller Street, and it's hard to understand how there aren't more leads or witnesses. It feels like someone must have seen something, even just a small detail, and it's crucial these people come forward and share what they know with the authorities. My heart goes out to Juan’s parents, Anthony and Nikitha, and everyone who loved him. The fact that they’ve had to keep the services private just to cope in peace makes this loss even more difficult. It's truly a reminder of the emotional toll these unsolved cases have on families. I hope the Gastonia community rallies together to help solve this case. Keeping fingers crossed for a breakthrough soon. If anyone reading this has information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please reach out to the police. Juan deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.
