Hey everyone,
Just thinking about the role of community safety in the tragic case of Shiheem Raiford. It's really upsetting how something like this could happen in what we hope are safe environments. The combination of the car crash and the shooting is baffling, and I keep wondering about how these two incidents were intertwined. It seems like there was a lot of chaos in such a short timeframe.
We always talk about how we need to know what's happening in our neighborhoods, but how do we really ensure safety when unpredictable events like these occur? It's so important for communities to come together, support each other, and hopefully get closer to finding out what led to that terrible day. My heart goes out to Shiheem’s loved ones as they face each day without him.
If anyone knows more about how community programs or local outreach could possibly prevent such incidents, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Has anyone looked into the surveillance footage from businesses around Atlantic Avenue and N. Herman Street? It seems like with something as shocking as a shooting leading to a car crash, there might be some cameras that caught part of the incident. My heart goes out to Shiheem Raiford’s family. They deserve to know what really happened and who is responsible. Maybe local businesses can step up and provide any footage they have. Anything to help piece together the sequence of events would be incredibly valuable right now. Sending strength and love to everyone affected by this tragedy.
