I've been following the case of Reggie Copeland and something that's been on my mind is how the community on Carolina Avenue must be feeling. Many of us take feeling secure in our neighborhoods for granted, but I can't imagine how the occupants of the house Reggie ran to are coping with all of this. Having someone show up at your door, in need of urgent help, and then finding out they've passed away must be truly distressing. It just shows how connected we all are and how violence reverberates through entire communities, affecting everyone, not just direct victims and their families. I hope they can find some peace in the days to come. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.
