I can't stop thinking about how incredibly selfless Torry was. Not only was he a standout athlete, but he also took time to mentor younger kids at the Salvation Army gym. He would always make them feel included and teach them new skills on the court. It's such a devastating loss for these kids who looked up to him and saw him as a role model. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them to reconcile this senseless act of violence with the kind, caring person they knew. We need to keep supporting these young ones so that Torry's legacy of hope and kindness lives on. His impact reached far beyond just basketball, and his legacy as a mentor should never be forgotten.
