Has anyone else been following the case of Willie Junior Melvin's murder in Clinton, NC? It's been over five years, and still, no arrests have been made. I can't imagine the pain his family must be enduring, not just losing Willie, but also with his cousin Lannis passing away so soon after. The circumstances are so baffling – a shooter just approaching his home in the night and then vanishing without a trace? Given that both Willie and Lannis died under such tragic circumstances just days apart, it's hard not to wonder if there’s more to the story that the investigators haven’t been able to connect yet. It must be frustrating for the family, seeing as details around these events seem so sparse. But with so many departments involved—Sampson County Sheriff’s Office, State Bureau of Investigation, Clinton Police—I hope justice is on the horizon. If anyone local to the area has more insights or updates, it’d be great to hear from you. Till then, let's keep spreading the word in hopes someone with information will step up.
