Hey everyone, has anyone noticed the lack of media coverage on Morgan Heimer's case? It seems like this should be making bigger headlines, especially with such an extensive search effort underway. I'm curious about the timeline of when he was last seen. It sounds like it happened late in the afternoon, just around 4 pm, if I read that right. I'm wondering if the lighting conditions might have affected visibility for the search teams? The area's pretty rough terrain too, between River Miles 211 and 225, which could complicate things. Anyone here familiar with that part of the Grand Canyon? Can you shed some light on what the conditions are actually like around there? I can't help but think there might be more details that could help us understand what happened.

Hey everyone, I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind regarding Morgan Heimer’s case. Has anyone looked into the gear he was last seen wearing, specifically that dark-colored Astral PFD? For those who aren’t familiar, Astral makes high-quality personal flotation devices, so it's peculiar that nothing has turned up considering his PFD should keep him buoyant. Couple this with the fact he was guiding a group, and I'm puzzled by how quickly and completely he seemed to vanish. Pumpkin Springs is a known rest area, so I assume others were close by when he went missing. It just seems off that a guide, who knows the river, could disappear so quietly. I wonder if the current was particularly strong on that day, or if something else could explain the situation. If anyone has insights or theories, I'd love to hear them. Let’s keep spreading awareness to bring Morgan home.

I came across this case on Morgan Heimer while diving into other Grand Canyon incidents. One detail that catches my attention is that Morgan was wearing a dark-colored Astral personal flotation device (PFD) when he disappeared. Given the conditions of the Colorado River, it seems odd that no sign of him or the PFD has been reported by now, even with the extensive searches they’ve conducted. I know the river can be unpredictable, but PFDs are designed to stay afloat, right? Wouldn't it have been seen somewhere along the river or even caught in the brush? Anyone with water rescue experience have thoughts on this? Could the turbulence or riverbottom make it disappear so quickly? It's baffling and haunting to think that not a single clue has surfaced. Sending positive thoughts to Morgan’s family and hoping for any possible lead soon. If anyone spots anything, remember to call the National Park Service Tip Line!
