I've been following the case of Deonton Strickland, and it just breaks my heart that this young man's life was cut short in such a senseless act of violence. It's truly maddening to think about the struggles the authorities are facing with witness cooperation. I get that people might be scared to come forward, but how do we expect things to change if everyone stays silent? Strickland's family deserves answers and closure. It angers me that many in the community remain tight-lipped. More people need to step up and speak out if we want healing. Our united voices could be the change we desire. My thoughts are with the friends and family of Deonton—no one should have to endure this kind of pain. Let's keep praying for justice and encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
