Hi everyone, I've been following Derrick Byers' case closely and something that's really stuck with me is the impact this tragedy has had on his family, especially his daughters. Tyliah, Kya, and Amani are left without their father, and that's a void that can never truly be filled. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling right now. I hope Derrick's loved ones are surrounded by the support they need during this incredibly difficult time. It's crucial for us as a community to rally around them and help create some sense of security and love. And let's not forget, this was the 17th homicide in High Point in 2018. There's a broader issue here that needs addressing. I genuinely hope justice is served for Derrick's family, and if anyone has more information about that night, please consider coming forward. Our thoughts should be with the loved ones left behind. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following Derrick Byers' case, and one thing that stands out to me is the location where the incident happened. The High Point Bowling Center and Sidelines Bar and Grill at that time of night... it just raises so many questions. Was it a chance encounter gone wrong, or was there something more to it? I think about his daughters and the rest of his family and how answers could help them find some peace. If anyone has insight into what might have been going on at the bar that night or has spoken to people who were there, please come forward. Derrick’s family deserves to know why this tragedy happened. It’s important to keep discussing this so we don’t let Derrick’s memory fade and to hopefully bring justice for him and his loved ones.
