She probably just drifted into the background of the homeless population. If she had mental issues she might be stuck in the loop of being ignored by society like so many people that are homeless are. It is almost like they don't really exist. Then they are right there the whole time.
I've been following Suzanne Skimina's case for a while now, and something that's been sticking with me is the location where she vanished. For those not familiar with Pomona, Benson Avenue and Foothill Boulevard is a pretty bustling area. What puzzles me is how no one reported seeing her after she ran off. There must have been people around that day. Does anyone here know if there were any local events or construction going on around that time that might have caused a distraction or been the reason why witnesses weren't aware? Also, do we have any info on what direction she might have headed? Maybe this neighborhood has someone who remembers something even if it's a small detail. Every bit helps.
Has anyone heard any updates about Suzanne Brevard Skimina’s case? I was thinking about it today and realized how strange it is that not much information has surfaced after all these years. I know she disappeared during an outing in Pomona, but I haven’t been able to find much about what has happened since. The lack of details is puzzling. I wonder if they’ve looked further into her medical conditions or if there were any more sightings after she left the group. Hope the Pomona and Upland PDs have some new leads. It’s a bit unsettling how people can seemingly vanish without a trace. Would love to hear any new theories or info.
