I want to ask if anyone is familiar with any other cases in Carthage that went unsolved for this long. It's so unsettling for the community and incredibly painful for Dakota's loved ones not to have any closure or justice. I’ve been following Dakota Watkins' case from Carthage, NC, and I just can't stop thinking about his family. I can't imagine what they’re going through with so few answers available. It must be incredibly hard for them not having closure or justice for Dakota.
I was wondering if anyone's come across any community efforts or memorial events organized in Dakota's honor? Sometimes these events help bring attention back to unsolved cases and might even spark someone’s memory that could help the investigation. If there's anything like that out there, I’d love to support or at least spread the word.
