Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic events in Rocky Mount and can’t stop thinking about how the community must be feeling right now. Having ShotSpotter technology in place seems like it should be a vital tool for quickly responding to incidents like what happened to Kestler Rayo Bridgers and Torrey Tinell Hill. But even with that technology, it seems answers aren’t coming fast enough. It makes you wonder what more could be done to prevent these tragedies or at least solve them more quickly. For the families and friends of both victims, I can’t imagine the frustration and pain of not having any clarity or justice yet. They deserve answers soon. Continuing to keep them in my thoughts. If anyone else has any insights or updates on the investigative techniques being used in cases like this, I’d love to hear more. Take care, everyone.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the ShotSpotter technology mentioned in the reports of Kestler Rayo Bridgers and Torrey Tinell Hill's tragic deaths. It’s incredible technology, but I worry it sometimes gives a false sense of security. In this case, it alerted the police to the gunfire quickly, but it still wasn’t enough to help save these men or catch anyone responsible. My heart goes out to the families dealing with this loss. It's hard to imagine the frustration and fear they must be feeling knowing the investigation hasn’t moved forward publicly. I'm praying for peace and justice for the community of Rocky Mount. Does anyone know if there have been any community meetings or responses from local officials? It seems like it would mean so much to show support for everyone impacted.
