I came across a local news article today that got me thinking about something in the Michael Mosely case. The fact that the remains were discovered by a dog in January 2024 made me wonder about the area where they were found. Does anyone know if the Dalewood area was ever searched extensively back in 2015 when Michael first went missing? I know a lot can change in a decade, especially in more rural areas, but it seems odd that it took this long for his remains to be discovered if the area was really combed through earlier. Could there have been some sort of oversight, or is it possible the location was chosen for other reasons related to those arrested in connection? Maybe someone with knowledge of local searches during that time might have some input?

Has anyone else been following the Mosely case in Lauderdale County? With the recent discovery of his remains and the arrest of Mindy Weaver, Megan Alexander, and Shawn Gibbs back in 2015, I've been thinking a lot about the evidence—or lack thereof—that tied them to the case initially. From what I understand, it seems like there wasn’t a whole lot of concrete evidence released to the public at the time, just enough to make the arrests. Does anyone know if the investigators disclosed what exactly led them to these three suspects back then? It's so wild that they moved forward with charges without a body at the time. It makes me wonder what's in the case files that we don’t know about...yet. Now that it’s officially a homicide, I'm hoping more details will come out. Would love to hear your thoughts or any information you might have come across.

Hey sleuths, I've been following the Michael Mosely case for a while now, and I can't shake this feeling about the timing of those arrests back in 2015. Mindy Weaver and Megan Alexander were taken into custody pretty quickly after Michael disappeared, but why are we only finding his remains now, nearly nine years later? Was there some kind of major oversight, or did someone finally crack under the pressure and point to the Dalewood area? It's just puzzling how a case with arrests for murder doesn’t have a body until all these years later. Maybe there's a lot more to this story or some dynamics we aren’t seeing just yet. What do you all think?
