I was reading about Na-Zea Scott's case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. I wanted to bring attention to an aspect of this tragedy that I find quite alarming—the location of the incident. It happened in a seemingly busy apartment complex, yet it sounds like more witnesses have yet to come forward. Given how populated the area is, it seems likely that more people might have seen or heard something that night. It's worrisome to think that fear or some other reason might be keeping folks from speaking up, and I hope that anyone with information finds the courage to share it with the authorities. Na-Zea deserves justice, and his loved ones need closure. Does anyone here live in the Charlotte area and have any insights on whether the police or community are doing anything to encourage people to come forward? Seems like more focused efforts could really help.
