Has anyone here attended the community vigil for Devin O'Dariess Lee? I read that it was a powerful moment where people gathered to honor Devin's life and call for an end to the violence that claimed him. It's so moving to see how the community can come together in the wake of such tragedy. The outpouring of love and support must have been heartening for his family during this incredibly difficult time. I can’t imagine what Sylvia Baker, Devin’s mom, must be going through right now. It makes me wonder how many more vigils and memorials we must witness before real change happens. How do we, as a community, start addressing these issues effectively? What more can be done to prevent young lives from being lost so senselessly?
