I wanted to talk about Nekeywan Thomas's strong ties with his community in Rockingham County. He wasn't just a name in the news; he was a beloved member of his community. Graduating from Reidsville Senior High and being part of Shiloh Baptist Church for so long speaks volumes about his character and the impact he must have had on those around him. It's so important for tragedies like this to not just be about the crime, but about remembering and honoring the person who was lost. It's clear the community is feeling the loss, especially his family, and I hope anyone with information feels compelled to come forward to help provide some peace for those grieving his absence.
