I can't stop thinking about the role that Duwayne's school life might have played in this whole situation. Dropping out of the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability must have been a tough decision for him and his family. I wonder if there were signs that he needed more support and if more could have been done to keep him engaged. It’s so frustrating that a young life was cut short before he had the chance to find his path. I hope the community takes a closer look at how we can better support our youth through their education. My thoughts are with his friends and family during this incredibly difficult time.
