Hey everyone, I came across some interesting details about Chad Nathan Stotz-Gomez’s disappearance that I haven’t seen discussed much. Given that Chad was a transient and often stayed around homeless camps, I wonder if his familiarity with the area near Harlan Landing gave him some sort of advantage or knowledge that could have been relevant on the day of the shooting. Maybe he knew a less obvious escape route or had acquaintances who shielded him from authorities? It's intriguing that despite his transient lifestyle, Chad was diligent about checking in with law enforcement as a Level One sex offender. That kind of responsibility doesn’t seem typical for someone who would just vanish without a trace. I can't help but feel there might be other overlooked clues in the community – maybe some other camp residents who haven't been fully interviewed? Curious to hear others' thoughts or insights on this angle.
Has anyone else looked into the fact that Chad's DNA was found at the scene of the shooting at Harlan Landing? I think it's really interesting how none of the witnesses are talking. It makes me wonder if something much bigger was going on at that camp that day. Maybe there was some kind of code of silence at play? Or could it be they’re afraid of whoever was involved? It’s strange to think that there might be people out there who know exactly what happened to Chad but aren’t coming forward. Also, does anyone have more info on Chad's past in New York or Montana? I always think understanding more about someone's history can help paint a better picture of what might have happened.

He had a family back in New York State which he left around 2010-2011.

If that helps you.

Hey everyone, I've been following Chad Nathan Stotz-Gomez's case and something I find strange is the lack of cooperation from witnesses at the Harlan Landing shooting. I understand fear might play a big role here, especially in transient communities where trust might be fragile. But has there been any discussion or theories about why the victim refused to cooperate? Perhaps there were elements of the incident that people are scared to talk about because of potential repercussions? Or, could it be that the community is choosing to protect someone? It seems odd, given that Chad's DNA was found there. If anyone has more insight or theories about this, I'd love to hear them. Stay safe and keep sharing info—it might help Chad's family find some answers.
