I came across something interesting while going through old reports about Dustin Martin's disappearance. Does anyone know if his dog was looked into more closely? It's strange to me that the dog was just roaming around the campsite without running off. Animals often react when something unusual happens, especially if they're close to their owner. Did search teams try to see if the dog might lead them to any areas of interest? Sometimes animals have a sense of where their owner might be or if something went wrong. Just a thought—curious to hear if anyone else has considered this angle or if there were any attempts to use the dog in the search efforts.
Has anyone else been looking into the impact those wildfires might have had on Dustin Martin's case? I can't help but think about how the fires could have destroyed any crucial evidence that might have helped us figure out what happened to him. The area was severely affected, and I wonder if the changes in the landscape might have covered or scattered traces left behind. It must have been incredibly challenging for search teams to navigate through such altered terrain. Does anyone know if the search was resumed once the fires were under control, or if any new tech has been brought in to help in the last few years? I just hope something comes up that leads to answers for those who care about him.
