Has anyone else been following the case of Daniel Steven Pierce in Rocky Mount? I've been thinking about the significance of the location where it happened – the Fuel Doc gas station on Cokey Road. It's a pretty busy area, which makes me wonder how there haven't been more witnesses coming forward. Drive-by shootings are so startling because they happen in the blink of an eye, but the chaos afterwards must leave an impact on anyone who witnessed it. It's a small miracle in itself that no one else was hurt. Still, the lack of immediacy in witness reports is concerning. I'm hoping there's someone out there who remembers a detail, no matter how small, that could help piece together what happened. It's so important for Daniel's family to eventually have some closure and for the community to feel safe. Anyone here from Rocky Mount seeing more police presence in the area since this incident? It would be reassuring to know that steps are being taken to prevent anything like this from happening again.
