I'm just thinking about the community impact these tragic events have had. Brendan Hurley and Anthony McCall were so young, and the ripple effects of their loss are undoubtedly felt by everyone who knew them. It's really hard to grasp how much pain their families and friends must be enduring. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of the suspects in this case, especially given their young ages. Ryan Veach and James Robinson were just teens themselves. It's just shocking to think about how lives on all sides have been altered—Brendan and Anthony lost in such a brutal manner, and these young men facing severe charges and consequences. How did life lead them all to intersect in such a tragic way? I'm hoping for healing and peace for Brendan and Anthony's families, as they endure the painful legal processes ahead. It's important that justice is served, of course, but it's a sobering reminder of how much hurt is left in the wake of these senseless acts. Let's remember Brendan and Anthony for the joy they brought to their loved ones and support the families as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
