It's so hard to imagine the void Dondi Sadler's passing has left in the Whiteville community and among his loved ones. I was reading about how active he was in local basketball leagues, and it genuinely struck a chord with me. It sounds like he was not only talented on the court but also someone who would uplift those around him. His team members must really feel his absence at every game. I can’t imagine the heartbreak of losing a teammate and friend so senselessly. I hope this tragedy serves as a rallying point for the community to come together against violence. Does anyone know if there are any ongoing memorials or initiatives in his honor? It would be comforting to see his positive spirit live on in some way.
