Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Leontay Trevon Bryant lately and it's just so upsetting to think about what his loved ones must be enduring even now. I can’t help but think about the role of community support in these situations. From what I've seen, Rocky Mount really came together when this happened, and it’s a bittersweet reminder of how communities can unite in the face of tragedy. One thing that touched me was seeing how involved Team Cold Case got. It’s reassuring to know that there are dedicated people working persistently to make sure justice is served, and they don’t just give up when things get tough. I can’t imagine the kind of work and dedication it took to finally bring someone to justice for Leontay’s murder. It’s just another reason why community and law enforcement need to keep those channels open and support each other. Sending thoughts to Leontay's loved ones as they continue to navigate this difficult journey. It’s these stories that remind us all that there is still so much work to do to create safer communities for everyone.
