I've been following Patrick Jones' case since I first heard about it, and it continues to weigh heavily on my mind. I can't stop thinking about his cousin, who witnessed such a traumatic event. It must be incredibly difficult to not only lose a close family member in such an abrupt way, but to also hold onto the memories of that night. I imagine it's even harder when no closure has been reached. I've read that Patrick was like a brother to his friends too, and knowing that they, along with his family, are still waiting for answers makes me wish there was more we could all do to help. The fact that there are over 8,000 unsolved homicides in Detroit is absolutely staggering. I understand there are numerous challenges in solving these cases, but I hope the community finds a way to support his family and bring more attention to Patrick's story. Being a teenager just stepping into adulthood, he had such a bright future ahead of him, and it's truly unfair that his life was taken so soon. If anyone has any new information or ideas on how we can amplify this case, it’s crucial to step forward. Patrick deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
