Hey everyone, I've been thinking about Ernest Cameron and how his tragic death has impacted the community in Winston-Salem. It's particularly concerning to me how a toddler and a woman were in the car with him when it happened. The fact that they were unharmed is a small relief, but I can't imagine the trauma they might be experiencing just being present during such a terrifying moment. It breaks my heart to think about what they witnessed and how it might affect them long-term. I read somewhere that Ernest was a person of love, peace, and happiness, so a situation like this just seems unfathomable. It's just another reminder of how quickly things can change because of senseless violence. I hope the community can rally around the family and those affected to offer support and love through these difficult times. Also, if anybody has more insight into how the community is coping or any support systems that have been put in place, I'd really appreciate hearing about it. It's important we keep talking about these things. Let's hope for justice for Ernest and comfort for his loved ones.
