I’ve been following the case of Kentrell Haddock, and it’s just been on my mind a lot lately. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family is going through. Knowing that the victim and suspects were acquainted raises so many questions. It seems like there’s so much more beneath the surface of this tragedy. Why would something like this escalate to murder? It really makes me reflect on how sometimes the people you think you know may not always have your best intentions at heart. With Jamoni Keion Edwards and Briana Lanay McLaurin both arrested, I hope we start to get clearer answers soon. It’s crucial that every piece of evidence is thoroughly examined to ensure justice. The involvement of multiple law enforcement teams gives me hope that they’re covering all bases. At the end of the day, I just wish peace for Kentrell’s family and his young son, Kaysen. Such a senseless loss of life.

I keep thinking about Kentrell Haddock’s little boy, Kaysen. It’s a struggle to comprehend how he will navigate life without his father. My heart goes out to him—growing up without Kentrell is such a heavy burden for such a young child. The arrest of Jamoni Keion Edwards and Briana Lanay McLaurin gives some hope that justice is on the way, but I hope that more than anything, Kaysen can grow up knowing his father’s memory as one of love and light, not just tragedy. It’s so commendable to see the community and law enforcement working together to support the family through this, but we need to keep Kaysen in our thoughts as this unfolds. I’m wondering if there are any local groups or resources supporting children in similar situations, especially in Greenville? Would love to know if we can get involved or help in some way.
