Has anyone else been thinking about the young boy who survived? I can't even begin to imagine what he's going through. While the loss of Jeannie Ray and the rest of the victims is deeply troubling, my heart really goes out to that 16-year-old. The trauma of losing loved ones so explosively and being the sole survivor must be overwhelming. Does anyone know if there are support systems in place for him? Trauma like that can have a lasting impact, and I hope he’s surrounded by family, community, and professionals who can help him navigate through this. It's vital that he gets the understanding and care he needs during such a difficult time. If anyone has updates or knows how we as a community can support, I'd love to hear. Sending strength to everyone affected.

I’ve been following the Moncure tragedy, and my heart goes out to the families of the victims. What stood out to me is the role of the 16-year-old boy who managed to survive the horrific event. It’s unimaginable what he must have gone through and the courage it must have taken to call 911 while hiding. This young survivor’s life is forever changed, and he will carry the weight of what happened that night with him always. I hope the community can rally around him, offering support and love to help him heal. I can’t help but wonder what kind of resources, like counseling or therapy, are available for him and how the community can assist in providing for his emotional and psychological needs after experiencing such a trauma. If anyone knows more about how he's being supported or how we could help, please share. Keeping the victims and their loved ones in my thoughts.
