Hey everyone, I’m just shaken thinking about how Tyrone Jones, who spent so much of his life trying to stop violence, became a victim of it himself. It's awful to imagine someone like him, who dedicated his time to patrolling the streets and organizing community events, getting shot in his own carport. From what I've read, it seems like he was respected and loved by many. I'm curious if anyone has more details about the Westside Nubians and the work they did. It seems like such an important organization for the community. I feel like really understanding what they did might give us more insight into Tyrone's life and possibly why someone would want to harm him. It’s distressing to think that even with a solid description of the suspect, the case remains unsolved. Keeping Tyrone’s family in my thoughts and hoping for some kind of breakthrough soon.
