I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects this tragedy has on the community. I mean, Roman was just 15, in the wrong place at the wrong time. It breaks me to think about how much potential was stolen from him. It's not just about statistics or another case number, you know? Each incident represents real lives, real families shattered. What really gets to me is the fact that this happened in broad daylight. It just shows how bold these criminals have become and how urgent it is for us as a community to step up. It's terrifying to think that someone like Clifton, already known to law enforcement, was back on the streets. How many more senseless losses need to happen before something changes? My heart goes out to Roman's family and friends. Can't imagine how tough this must be for them, and I hope they find the support they need during this time.

I've been thinking a lot about the community response since we lost Roman. It’s really moving to see neighbors coming together and trying to tackle the violence in East Charlotte. There’s been an uptick in crime, and Roman’s tragic death seems to have struck a chord with so many people. It’s such a tough situation for his family and friends to go through losing a young soul. The neighborhood meetings and increased patrols are great steps, but it feels like there’s still so much more to be done. I hope this tragic loss can spark long-term changes, not just in policing, but in community support systems that might prevent these incidents in the first place. If anyone knows of any local initiatives or groups we can support to help make a difference, please share them. Let’s wrap this community in love for Roman and take action so there aren’t more stories like this one.
