I’ve been looking into Christina Lynn Bastian’s case recently and something that puzzles me is the discovery of her belongings along Highway 247. It seems such a haunting image to imagine her things just scattered there. Why leave behind such critical items like her wallet and ID? I’m no expert, but was she trying to go off the grid or maybe trying to leave a trail for someone to find? It’s hard not to wonder if it was a cry for help or an indication of her state of mind given what we know about her struggles with bipolar disorder. The fact that there’s no evidence of foul play doesn’t make this any less concerning, and it feels like there are so many tangled threads in this case. Has anyone looked into whether there were sightings around that highway? It would be great to know if there were any witnesses who noticed anything unusual around that time.
