Has anyone else been looking into the details about the overturned furniture and eyeglasses found at Fay Rawley's home? It makes me wonder if there's more to the scene than what's been discussed. If Rawley was such a savvy businessman, wouldn't he have set up some way to defend himself or have a plan given all the enemies he allegedly had? I'm curious if there's been any deeper analysis of the struggle at his house. Also, with his reputation and the recent attempts on his life, could this have been staged by him or someone else to make it look like a kidnapping? Maybe the furniture and those glasses tip us off to something deeper. Thoughts?
Has anyone else looked into the connection between Fay Rawley's disappearance and the local strip mines in the area? I stumbled across an old article that mentioned his Cadillac was spotted near a strip mine the night he vanished. It’s intriguing (and a bit chilling) to think that might be where all the traces ended.
Given the mining operations back then, it’s not far-fetched to suspect something could have easily been hidden or buried. I wonder if there are any old-timers around who might have heard stories from that era, maybe passed down from folks who worked in the mines. Even though past searches yielded nothing, I feel like this angle deserves another dive, especially with modern tech available today.
Anyone else come across something similar while digging into other cold cases?
